Shaun Edwards insists you can never write off Wales as the France defence coach gears up for a Six Nations opener against his former side on Friday night.

Edwards, who masterminded Wales' defensive resilience for over a decade, will now be plotting their downfall as France kick off their 2025 campaign in Paris.
With Les Bleus entering the tournament as favourites, another title would only strengthen Edwards' case for a dream return to the British and Irish Lions coaching team.
The 57-year-old was part of the 2009 Lions setup in South Africa, and with his former Great Britain rugby league team-mate Andy Farrell leading the tourists to Australia in 2025, Edwards is desperate for a call-up.
"I'd swim to Australia if Faz gives me a shout," Edwards admitted. "I know that if you're in good form, then you have a chance. That probably means winning the Six Nations."
