Rassie Erasmus shared a picture of his English Bulldog Frank on his X account. Most fans responded with excitement as some claimed that he hadn’t posted images of Frank in a while.
The image was part of an invitation Eraamus extended to rugby fans to join him on a Christmas beach walk. He hilariously shared that the walk was inspired by his pet dog Frank. Check out the post.
RASSIE ERASMUS’ DOG FRANK
Rassie Erasmus shared on X on 22 December 2024 an invite to anyone who would like to join him on a 6km walk alongside Blouberg beachfront. His post included a picture of his dog Frank sitting on a treadmill. He captioned the post:
"Frank is trying to tell me something. If there anyone keen in Blouberg strand from Wednesday 06h00 in front of Doodles we go for a fast walk(not run) we walk 3km out and 3 back! If you keen see you there! Maybe let me know on the comments! Lekka."
FANS SHOW MORE INTEREST TO FRANK
Ironically, fans had a lot to say about Erasmus' adorable pet Frank than the actual walk. Some jokingly said Frank needed to start training with the Springboks. Here are some of their comments.
"He looks like sonny from the Dogfather movie. So cute!"
"Frank needs to start squad [training] STAT!"
"Doodles. Frank is Oulik! Frank wants pizza and steak at doodles. Frank has a lot of fans! Viva Frank."
"Frank ain’t managing 3k sir. Maybe 300 metres but not a step more."
RASSIE ERASMUS’ CHRISTMAS DAY WALK
Following the invite, quite a number of Springbok fans turned up. The coach shared the experience online by posting videos and photos. He also thanked those who came out to join him. "Was really lekka!! Thanks for all to make it so casual and fun! Merry Christmans."
