Rassie Erasmus celebrated the dawn of Christmas day with a group of Springbok fans who met the coach for a stroll along the beach in Cape Town.
The gathering followed a tweet from Erasmus on Sunday, broadcasting an open invite to join him for a brisk 6km walk along Blouberg beachfront.

A group of avid Bok fans showed up for the opportunity to meet the Bok coach on a glorious day in the Mother City, and Erasmus was very grateful for the turnout.
“Thank you to everyone who was down at the beach … for making it fun,” Erasmus said in a video posted on Twitter. “We know its bigger than having fun and about more than giving out presents… we all know there’s a much bigger purpose. For those who are religious, who know God provides for us, it was a nice way to say, ‘Thank you.’ We know what an important day this is, and let’s keep it that way.
“Love you all, and Merry Christmas!”
