Saturday week's game will see Munster Rugby aim to secure another historic win over a Southern Hemisphere team, after facing up against a Super Rugby side, 2023 Champions Crusaders last season. The unique match was held at SuperValu Páirc Uí Chaoimh in front of a sell-out 40,885 attendance and saw Munster Rugby edge out the Christchurch outfit. This historic win followed Munster's iconic victory over South Africa XV in 2022, a fixture that saw a rugby game held in the iconic Supervalu Páirc Uí Chaoimh venue for the first time. Attention now turns to this season's clash with two sides set to add even more anticipation and excitement to what is already teeing up to be a thrilling fixture.
