Statement: Saracens boss steps down with immediate effect

Saracens have officially confirmed that CEO Mark Thompson has stepped down by mutual consent, effective immediately.

In a statement, the club acknowledged Thompson's contributions:
“Mark made a meaningful impact in several areas of the business. The Board acknowledges and appreciates the hard work and passion he poured into the role and the club.”
Taking up the reins is Hamish Wilson, now appointed as Chief Operating Officer. The club highlighted Wilson's strong credentials, stating he brings "excellent experience and insight" to the position.
Wilson will be backed by Saracens' existing team as the club enters a new chapter, ensuring continuity and leadershipremain a priority.
