Here's a look at five players whose performances left much to be desired in the opening weekend.

Jack Singleton (Gloucester)

Returning from Toulon, the England hooker had a mixed performance. He initially faltered with his lineout throws to the front and had to adjust by aiming further back, where he found more consistency. Singleton also found it difficult to break through Saracens' defensive line, a struggle shared by Gloucester's entire pack.
