Sharks reveal team for Currie Cup final

The Sharks have understandably made minimal changes to their team for this weekend’s Currie Cup title decider, with the coastal side currently on an eight game unbeaten streak, including a win over the Lions towards the end of July.

There are just two changes, one amongst the forwards and the other in the backline, but it’s also certainly noteworthy that Springbok lock Jenkins, who joined the Sharks this season from Irish giants Leinster, has been named among the replacements in a 6-2 split on the bench.

Head coach John Plumtree has named Emmanuel Tshituka at eighthman in place of Phepsi Buthelezi, while Jurenzo Julius returns at outside centre to partner with Springbok Andre Esterhuizen after Francois Venter was suspended following his red card last weekend.
