2024 Boks: Newbies roast Portugal in Bloem

A Springbok side featuring seven debutants shrugged off an early red card to put 10 tries past Portugal in Bloemfontein.
Captain by Salmaan Moerat for the first time, the Springboks lost Andre Esterhuizen to a red card in the first 10 minutes, but turned on the style to earn a 64-21 win in their first-ever clash with Portugal.
Veteran wing Makazole Mapimpi grabbed a hat-trick, while there were debut tries for Jan-Hendrik Wessels, Phepsi Buthelezi, Andre-Hugo Venter and Quan Horn.
