WRAP: The Bulls Daisies showed their mean business as they kicked off their title defence in sublime fashion.

The back-to-back Women's Premier Division dismantled EP Queens 90-5 in Round One of the Women's Premier Division on Saturday.

The Bulls Daisies headed to Gqeberha as favourites and they did not disappoint.

Hayden Groepes' troops came out with intent and after the first quarter had a 12-0 lead.

EP Queens managed to break the deadlock, however, Bulls Daisies were just too good and after 60 minutes had a 69-5 advantage.

The side added 21 unanswered points in the closing 20 minutes and cruised to a 90-5 win.

Last year's finalist WP Women were also on the winning side at the False Bay Rugby Club in Cape Town.

Stanley Raubenheimer's team recorded a 53-13 win over Cheetahs Queens.

Azisa Mkhiva scored the hosts' first try of the match before Voice Ndou picked up a brace of tries, handing  Province a 39-13 lead.

Cheetash Queens really struggled with the WP's attack and the hosts eventually added to their tally for the 53-13 win.

Women Premier Division contenders Boland Dames marched to a 57-20 win against Golden Lions Women in Wellington, while in a more closely contested fixture, Border Ladies were forced to work for their 17-6 win over the Sharks Women.
