Hear from Munster’s Attack Coach Mike Prendergast and prop Josh Wycherley ahead of Saturday’s Round 11 United Rugby Championship fixture.
Prendergast covers new signings, reflects on Dragons and looks ahead to Scarlets. Looking back at Round 10 he says,
"It was a bit of a game of two halves. The first half was great in attack, we looked connected, our work rate off the ball was good, we looked fresh. The second half got a bit messier, we lost four backs through injury, and we were a small bit disappointed, but to come away from Dragons with five points was great."
Wycherley comments on his recent injury and the rehab process as well as the team’s match day preparations and his contract renewal.
"It's my first long term injury I have had. I have been out for the last four months which is strange for me. I've had time to focus on rehab and different parts of the game, and hopefully get back in the mix in the next week or two."
"A lot the work that I would have been doing is in the gym, working with the physios here. Munster have done really well in trying to break down parts of the game and try and make your gym rehab as applicable to rugby as much as possible."
Munster will face Scarlets in Thomond Park with a 5.15pm kick-off. Tickets are available here.
