WITH this convincing 29-8 win over Scarlets at Thomond Park, Munster have moved nicely up the URC table.
Shay McCarthy touched down in the opening half and the extras from Billy Burns left Munster 7-3 ahead at half-time.
The home side, however, owned the closing period and tries flowed from man-of-the-match Gavin Coombes (2), Alex Kendellen and Tom Farrell.
Next up, Munster entertain Edinburgh in Cork on Friday week.
