NEWS: The Sharks have unveiled a number of players - junior and seniors - they have resigned with long-term deals.

Two-time Springbok World Cup winner Makazole Mapimpi has signed on to stay till after the 2027 World Cup.

One of the most exciting prospect in the country, loose forward Tinotenda Mavesere, has signed to stay in the Shark Tank till June 2028.

Two players who have come through the junior ranks in Durban - Ethan Bester and Phatu Ganyane - have bothed signed on to June 2028.

Director of Rugby Neil Powell said it is a know fact that keeping a core group together over a long period ensures the chances of success increase.

Defence guru Joey Mongalo said the latest batch of resignings indicate the Sharks are 'growing their own', while bringing in a 'sprinkle of people to add value'.
