Bath Rugby have secured a major boost with the announcement that England centre Ollie Lawrence has signed a new long-term contract with the club.

Lawrence, 25, arrived at The Rec in October 2022 following Worcester Warriors’ collapse and has since become an integral part of Bath's resurgence. The powerful midfielder has racked up 44 appearances, crossing the whitewash 16 times in the famous Blue, Black and White jersey.
A product of Worcester's academy, Lawrence lifted the Premiership Rugby Cup with the Warriors in 2022 before making the move to Bath. His form in the West Country has seen him cement his place in the England squad, earning 31 caps to date, including a key role in Steve Borthwick's squad that finished third at the 2023 Rugby World Cup.
Reflecting on his contract extension, Lawrence expressed his excitement about the club's future:
"I've enjoyed my time at Bath over the last few seasons. It's helped me grow as a player on and off the field. I believe we have so much potential within this group and I'm excited for what we can achieve over the next few seasons."
Bath's Head of Rugby, Johann van Graan, was full of praise for the centre's impact:
"Ollie has been magnificent for us, not only this season but since he first joined the club. He has established himself as a starting international player. I love the way Ollie has improved as a player and as a person whilst at Bath. We are excited to see Ollie continuing his journey with us and his best is definitely yet to come."
