England are in prime position to capitalise on any last-day meltdown from Six Nations leaders France after storming to second place in the table with a dominant seven-try demolition of Italy at Allianz Stadium.

But it wasn't all good news—Steve Borthwick confirmed a brutal setback, as Ollie Lawrence suffered a devastating ACL injury in the first half.

Next up? A huge showdown with Wales in Cardiff on Super Saturday, 15 March, kicking off at 16:45 GMT at the Principality Stadium. England sit just one point behind France, who take on Scotland in Paris later in the day.

However, there's a huge catch. France hold a staggering 82-point advantage in points difference, meaning that unless England produce something utterly ridiculous in Cardiff, any French win over Scotland will be enough to secure the title.

With that in mind, here are three changes England must make for their final Six Nations clash.

#1. Ellis Genge

Planet Rugby: “Again, didn't get to do much scrummaging but on the whole was fine. Carried hard when given the chance and got about in defence.”

Telegraph: “Probably his quietest performance of the Championship so far. Won an early scrum penalty but then got pinged for sealing off right in front of the posts.”

Mail Online: Warned for protesting with referee in the first half after being penalised for sealing off. Added a couple of trademark carries in attack.

Evening Standard: “Warned by the referee for his reaction to giving away a contentious late first-half penalty as he had too much to say for himself. Not his best day otherwise but useful in the loose.”

Replacement: Fin Baxter
