However, it was his teammate Dan Lancaster who grabbed the headlines by earning a spot in Midi Olympique's team of the week.

Bench Warmer: Farrell Eases Back In

The former England captain began the match on the bench at Stade Marcel Michelin after recovering from an adductor injury that had sidelined him since January. Despite Farrell's return, Racing's struggles in the Top 14 continued as they hover dangerously close to the drop zone.

Lancaster Lights It Up

Stepping into the No.10 role was former England U20 fly-half Dan Lancaster, who impressed with 10 points from the tee, securing his place in the weekly best XV.

Family Ties in Paris

Lancaster joined Racing over the summer from Ealing Trailfinders, arriving alongside Farrell to work under his father, Stuart Lancaster, who was coaching the side at the time. Dan made a solid start to life in Paris but hadn't featured in the starting XV since his father's departure from the club in January, making this performance all the more notable.

Scotland Calling?

Eligible for both Scotland and England, Lancaster could be on Gregor Townsend's radar this summer, with Scotland likely to be without Blair Kinghorn and Finn Russell for their upcoming fixtures.
