STATEMENT: Worcester Warriors confirm bid to return

Worcester Warriors have officially submitted their expression of interest to return to competitive rugby, following their administration in 2022.

The club has applied to participate in the newly restructured second-tier Championship.

In a statement, the Warriors acknowledged the challenges they have faced but reaffirmed their dedication to restoring rugby in the city: “Whilst it has clearly been a difficult period for everybody associated with the club, we are fully committed to bringing a high-quality rugby product back to Worcester.”

If their application is successful, the Warriors aim to make their comeback at the start of the 2025-2026 season.
