Steve Borthwick's squad will head to La Plata for the opener on July 5 before traveling to San Juan for the second clash on July 12. Missing from the lineup will be those selected for the British and Irish Lions’ tour of Australia, leaving a fresh-faced England squad to tackle Los Pumas.
Argentina's Curtain-Raiser with the Lions
Before hosting England, the Pumas will kickstart their summer by facing the British and Irish Lions in Dublin on June 20. This highly anticipated clash sets the stage for the Lions' Australian adventure, featuring Tests in Brisbane (July 19), Melbourne (July 26), and Sydney (August 2).
England vs. Argentina: A Rivalry Revisited
The history books heavily favor England, who have won 21 of their 27 encounters with Argentina. Their last tour to South America in 2017 saw Eddie Jones' side secure a 2-0 series victory. However, Argentina's memorable 30-29 triumph at Twickenham in November 2022 serves as a reminder of their growing threat.
Will England maintain their dominance, or can the Pumas produce another upset on home turf? South America awaits.
