Peter Tom steps into the role of President, while former Tigers winger Leon Lloyd joins the Board.
Big investment and bigger ambitions
Since joining the Board in 2011, Scott has been a key financial backer of the club, most notably injecting an additional £10 million in February 2023. Over the past season, he's also taken over from Peter Tom as the Tigers' representative on the PRL Investor Board and in Professional Game matters.
A Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales, Scott has a wealth of experience, having served as a director for several listed companies. He currently chairs Sealyham Investments Limited, with interests spanning property development, sport, and corporate finance.
Passion for the Tigers
Reflecting on his new role, Scott said:
"Almost immediately from my introduction to the club, I recognised its significance not only in rugby but also in the Leicestershire and Midlands communities. I have held a great passion for Leicester Tigers and was very proud to join the Board in 2011."
"We've seen a lot of changes and challenges in the game during my time, but also many successes. It's a privilege to be appointed Chairman, and my goal remains the same — to ensure the club continues to be successful and sustainable long into the future."
