A product of Ledbury RFC, Butler climbed the ranks at Worcester Warriors from the age of just 14. He was instrumental in their U18 Academy League triumphs in both 2016 and 2017. Making his senior debut in the Challenge Cup against Enisei-STM in 2016, the talented centre quickly became a player to watch.
From Worcester to the world
After leaving Worcester, Butler showcased his skills in the RFU Championship with Hartpury RFC before heading to New Zealand to play for Tasman Mako.
England pedigree
The 25-year-old also boasts an impressive international CV. Butler was part of the England U20s team that clinched the Six Nations title in 2017 and reached the final of the U20s World Championship in the same year.

Skivington's take
Gloucester's Director of Rugby, George Skivington, expressed his excitement about the signing:
*"We're pleased to bring Will into the building here at Kingsholm to bolster our backs. We're going into a run of really competitive games, so having strength in depth in key areas will be critical.
"Will is an experienced player and he's extremely motivated to have another shot at the Premiership, so he's come in with a real hunger to learn and work hard which has been pleasing."
