Springboks and Stormers fly-half Manie Libbok faced a nightmare moment on Saturday, being stretchered off the field and rushed straight to hospital following a brutal clash against Toulon.

“A Mortal Blow” – John Dobson’s Verdict
Stormers head coach John Dobson didn't hold back in his post-match comments, calling the 24-14 loss in Gqeberha a "mortal blow" and expressing deep concern over Libbok's condition.
Injury Update: Bad News All Around
Dobson painted a grim picture as he detailed the mounting injury list:
- Manie Libbok: "Very bad… Normally with a concussion, you don't go straight to the hospital, so there's definitely concern."
- Keke Morabe: Suffered a leg fracture—his second in just nine months.
- BJ Dixon: Failed his second Head Injury Assessment (HIA).
- Ruben van Heerden: Dealing with soreness but nothing major.
A Tough Day at the Office
Dobson summed it up: "It's quite a bad day at the office as it is."
With their star fly-half's health in question and an injury list growing by the day, the Stormers have serious hurdles ahead.
