France stormed to the Six Nations title by subduing a spirited Scotland in Paris, while England obliterated Wales and Ireland overpowered Italy.

Here's our team of the week from the final round of action.

1. Ellis Genge (England)

Would have been absent had his partner gone into labour, but with the new arrival still pending, Genge got down to business. His early scrum penalty set the tone as England built their lead, and his work in the loose kept Wales under constant pressure. A 62-minute shift that left its mark.

2. Dan Sheehan (Ireland)

A hat-trick hero. Sheehan's mobility and dynamism kept Italy's defence scrambling, while his lineout accuracy was rock-solid. His first try gave Ireland the lead before half-time, his second extended it, and his third put the contest beyond doubt. Now has 13 tries in 24 caps—ridiculous numbers for a hooker.

3. Will Stuart (England)

A dominant display to round off his campaign. Early scrum penalty aside, he was superb, capping off his 48-minute stint with a determined try right on half-time.

4. Thibaud Flament (France)

Started by being bundled into touch but barely put a foot wrong thereafter. Controlled the lineout like a general and topped the tackle count with 19. Staying on for 75 minutes despite a loaded bench speaks volumes.

5. Maro Itoje (England)

Led from the front once again. Imperious in the air, relentless in the contact area, and a constant nuisance for Wales. A couple of penalties early in the second half were his only blemishes in a commanding display.

6. François Cros (France)

The only French back-rower not hooked after half-time, and for good reason. Flawless in defence, leading the charge when others fell off tackles. Even had a key penalty win chalked off due to Mauvaka's yellow card.

7. Ben Curry (England)

Promoted from the bench and looked like he'd been there all tournament. Made life miserable for Wales, carried strongly, and delivered a game-changing turnover on his own try line in the 47th minute.

8. Ben Earl (England)

Played like a man possessed. Carried tirelessly, then stepped into the centres for the final 30 minutes and still dominated. England's latest hybrid forward experiment? It worked.
