Sir Clive Woodward, the architect of England's legendary 2003 Rugby World Cup triumph, won't feature in ITV's coverage of the Six Nations Championship.
The 68-year-old decided to step away from his broadcasting duties after a memorable stint at the Rugby World Cup in France last year.

“ITV Were Very Disappointed”
Reflecting on his decision, Woodward said:
“ITV were very disappointed but after the Rugby World Cup I wanted to go out on a high. I will be at Twickenham still — but this time as a spectator and fan.”
Woodward, a familiar face in ITV’s rugby coverage over the past decade, revealed that his focus will now shift to other business ventures. He also extended his gratitude to the ITV team:
“I would like to thank the ITV Sport team and my fellow panellists and co-commentators for so many great games and happy memories, and wish everyone the very best for an exciting Six Nations campaign.”
Eddie Jones in the Mix?
With Woodward stepping away, ITV may shake things up in their studio lineup. Reports suggest that former England boss Eddie Jones is being considered as a pundit for the 2025 Six Nations.
Jones, currently at the helm of Japan's national team, was in the UK this autumn. Notably, he's free during February and March, perfectly timed to share his expertise—especially on all things England.
Neither ITV nor the BBC has confirmed their line-ups yet, but Jones' potential inclusion would be a blockbuster move. His deep rugby knowledge and fiery personality could bring fresh energy to ITV's coverage.
