Ryan Wilson was right in the thick of the drama at Murrayfield in 2018, allegedly sparking some fiery tunnel chaos as the teams headed back to the changing rooms after the warm-up.

Footage from the game shows Owen Farrell storming through a group of Scotland players to get to Wilson, who had been busy trying to rattle George Ford. Wilson later claimed this heated encounter led to him being banned from Twickenham the following year—before the insane 38-38 draw.

"I remember that game, I was actually injured," Wilson told Rugby Pass in November. "After everything that happened in the tunnel, I'd lined up a corporate gig at Twickenham. Bit of extra cash, all sorted. Then I get a message saying the RFU have banned me from the stadium.

"They told me, 'We don't want him on the premises after what went down at Murrayfield.' It's madness. But honestly, it's just another little win—knowing I p***ed them off that much."

What Did He Actually Say to Ford?

So what exactly did Wilson say that got under Ford's skin and sent Farrell charging in?

“With England, they walk into every game expecting to win,” Wilson explained. "I was actually looking for Farrell, but I couldn't find him. So I just whispered a little something to Ford. I won't tell you exactly what I said, but it was along the lines of, 'We're coming for you, you better watch yourself.'

"Might have mentioned breaking a few bones somewhere."

Farrell wasn't having any of it. Spotting Wilson's mind games, he came flying down the tunnel and shoved the Scotland back-rower in the back. Wilson admitted it was a risky move—one that could have backfired—but it clearly worked, as Scotland secured a fiery 25-13 victory, their first win over England since 2008.

Wilson was later cited for an incident with Nathan Hughes, but ultimately cleared.

Martin Johnson named his all-time rugby XV and left out some huge names from his team

There's no place for Lawrence Dallaglio, Shane Williams, Brian O'Driscoll, or Jason Robinson in his dream team.

Johnson, who famously led England to glory in 2003 and captained the British & Irish Lions in both 1997 and 2001, has gone with a side packed with all-time greats.

He also won two Grand Slams with England in 1995 and 2003, solidifying his legacy as one of the sport's greatest leaders.

So, who made the cut? Here's Johnson's ultimate XV.

BACK THREE

Fullback: Serge Blanco (France)
A magician with the ball in hand, Blanco scored 38 tries in 93 appearances for France and was known for his incredible attacking flair.

"A great France fullback who dominated games."

Winger: Joe Roff (Australia)
Roff was a key part of Australia's golden era, winning the 1999 Rugby World Cup and scoring 30 tries in 86 Tests. A complete winger with pace, skill, and a brilliant rugby brain.

"You'd put David Campese up there, but Roff is my choice. A fantastic all-round rugby player, an old-school wing."

Winger: Jonah Lomu (New Zealand)
The most feared winger in history, Lomu's 15 Rugby World Cup tries and bulldozing runs changed the game forever.

"Not much difficulty in choosing one of the most awesome wings to have ever played."

CENTRES

Outside-centre: Philippe Sella (France)
Sella was the first player to win 100 caps for France and remains one of the most complete centres the game has ever seen.

"I used to watch him as a kid on TV and think he was brilliant. Then I played against him, and he was still brilliant. If you hit him, it was like running into concrete."

Inside-centre: Danie Gerber (South Africa)
One of the best centres never to play in a Rugby World Cup due to South Africa's sporting exile. Gerber had electric pace and scored 19 tries in just 24 Tests.

"He didn't play many Tests because of apartheid, but he had power and pace. I played against him in a charity match in 1996 when he was in his 40s – he was still awesome."
