The 25-year-old playmaker joined the English powerhouse last summer to replace Owen Farrell, who jetted off to France.

Burke, born in Gisborne on New Zealand’s North Island, qualifies for Scotland through his Glasgow-born grandfather.

Gregor Townsend rolls the dice

Scotland's head coach, Gregor Townsend, is gearing up for his eighth Six Nations campaign and has included uncapped Glasgow Warriors number eight Jack Mann in the squad.

The Scots will kick off their campaign at home against Italy on 1 February, before hosting defending champions Ireland at Murrayfield eight days later.

Scotland's Six Nations ambitions

After finishing fourth in the 2024 Six Nations, with tight losses to France and Italy, Townsend's side will be aiming to turn narrow defeats into statement victories.
