Sione Tuipulotu, fresh off being named Scotland's captain, is expected to spurn big offers from the likes of Harlequins, Bath, and even Stade Francais.
Yep, if Rugby Pass' Neil Fissler has it right, the Glasgow Warriors star will stick it out north of the border when his contract wraps up next summer.

Melbourne’s Finest Finds His Footing in Scotland
At 29, Tuipulotu has become a fixture in the Glasgow squad and could be in line for a shot with the British & Irish Lions in Australia next summer. Talks are already underway with the Scottish Rugby Union (SRU) to secure his place at Scotstoun, keeping him right where the fans want him.
The Family Connection
Adding to the Scottish connection, Tuipulotu's younger brother Mosese has also joined the Scottish rugby scene with Edinburgh this season. With the Autumn Internationals keeping him busy, more contract negotiations will be on hold until he wraps up there in a few weeks.
A Memorable Captaincy Debut
Tuipulotu captained Scotland for the first time during their recent win over Fiji—a moment three years in the making since his debut against Tonga. "I look back at when I first came over and I did two weeks quarantine because it was in the Covid times and then when I popped out, one of the boys got Covid, so I ended up doing four weeks in a hotel before I did any training," he said, laughing at the memory. "I was thinking about going home, to be honest, because it was getting a bit tough!"
Mum and 'Granny from Greenock' Tuning In
Tuipulotu had special supporters cheering him on at Murrayfield. His mother, Angelina, was there in person, while his Scottish grandmother tuned in from Australia, keeping up on social media. "My grandma's finally figured out how to use social media… she's replying to some of the fans online," Tuipulotu laughed. "I think some of the fans were saying 'thank you to Granny from Greenock' and she's replying, 'no worries'…she doesn't even have a Facebook profile picture, just blank face and Jacqueline Thomson, but she's stoked!"
