Premiership Rugby launches search for first ever Charity Partner
Yesterday at 04:50 AM
Premiership Rugby has announced a new initiative to find its first official charity partner for the 2025/26 season. This groundbreaking partnership will provide a unique opportunity for a national charity to collaborate with the league and its 10 member clubs across the Gallagher Premiership, the Premiership Rugby Cup, and the U18s Academy League.
A Legacy of Community Impact
Since its formation in 1997, Premiership Rugby has consistently championed social impact, engaging over 150,000 children and young people through award-winning initiatives such as Project Rugby—a collaboration with Gallagher UK and the RFU—and HITZ, its flagship education and employability programme.
Now, as the league prepares to reset its social impact strategy for the 2025/26 season, this new partnership represents a key step in enhancing its focus on diversity, inclusion, and growing participation in rugby.
"A New Era in Social Impact"
Simon Massie-Taylor, CEO of Premiership Rugby, expressed his enthusiasm for the initiative:
"We're extremely excited to bring on board our first-ever official charity partner. The 2025/26 season marks the start of a new era in our social impact and CSR strategy, and we're looking for a charity partner to join us in using the power of rugby as a force for good in our society."
