Zara, the daughter of Princess Anne and wife of Rugby World Cup winner Mike Tindall, was not given a royal title at birth after her mother declined Queen Elizabeth II’s offer.
Princess Anne preferred that Zara and her brother Peter grow up without the burden of royal titles.
However, rumors suggest that the 430year-old may now receive a title due to her significant support for the King following his cancer diagnosis earlier this year. She was recently seen warmly embracing King Charles at the Windsor Horse Show.
According to Charlotte Griffiths of The Mail on Sunday, future King William and Zara share a “really deep bond,” which could lead to her having a substantial role in his future monarchy.
Reflecting on not being given a title at birth, Zara once said, “We were very lucky that we got to do it a bit our own way.”
