It's been a rollercoaster month for England, with dramatic late defeats to both New Zealand and Australia at Twickenham.
Fine margins and game management have once again been the story of their autumn so far, with England coming up just short in several tight encounters.
A similar tale unfolded this summer, where they narrowly lost to the All Blacks in two thrilling Tests, and their Six Nations loss to France was another heartbreaker. Most painful of all, they fell to South Africa in last year's World Cup semi-finals.
This Saturday, England will look to settle the score with the reigning world champions when the Springboks visit for their third Autumn Nations Series clash. South Africa head into this one off the back of a gritty win over Scotland, so England will need to bring their A-game to Twickenham.
Scroll down for the leaked England line-up.
Freddie's Fresh Start: Winger Steward's Comeback?
After a quiet start to the autumn, former first-choice fullback Freddie Steward could be in line to make a return, potentially starting on the wing against the Boks. Immanuel Feyi-Waboso has been ruled out after taking a head knock against Australia, leaving space for Steward to step in.
Sam's Back in the Mix: Underhill to Replace Curry
With Tom Curry sidelined, it's no surprise to see Sam Underhill set to return to the back row. There had been talk of moving Maro Itoje into the back row with Nick Isiekwe coming into the second row to provide an extra line-out option. However, that would have left England short on breakdown specialists, so Borthwick looks to have settled on Underhill's inclusion.
Ford on the Bench: Will He Prove the Doubters Wrong?
Despite heavy criticism from pundits like Andy Goode, George Ford is expected to stay on the bench for this one, despite his lacklustre performances in the losses to New Zealand and Australia. Will he be able to make an impact off the bench?
Leaked England Line-Up:
Furbank, Steward, Lawrence, Slade, Freeman, Smith, Spencer; Genge, George, Stuart, Itoje, Martin, Cunningham-South, Underhill, Earl.
Can England turn things around and finally get a win over South Africa? It's going to be a big night at Twickenham!
