After a knee replacement back in September, Davies has now undergone back surgery, which involved the insertion of a cage and four screws. Never one to shy away from a bit of banter, Davies joked about the root cause of his injuries.

“Now recovering from second operation, first knee replacement in September,” he shared on X. “Yesterday to insert cage into my back and 4 screws. All those tackles I missed. Wouldn't change a thing!”

A lifetime of hard hits

Known for his silky skills and rugby brain, Davies played with unparalleled passion. The toll of years on the pitch is evident, but the man himself has no regrets, embracing the aftermath with a smile.

A national treasure

Whether dazzling fans with a rugby ball in hand or entertaining millions from the commentary booth, Jonathan Davies remains a beloved figure in Welsh sport. His resilience off the field is just another chapter in an incredible career.
