International forward departs Saracens with immediate effect

Saracens have confirmed that hooker Kapeli Pifeleti has left the club to take up a new opportunity in France, joining Pro D2 side Provence.

Pifeleti, 25, made 53 appearances for the Men in Black after coming through the club's academy system, having first arrived in North London back in 2018. A key squad member during Saracens' 2023 Gallagher Premiership-winning campaign, the USA international also gained experience on loan at San Diego Legion before establishing himself as a regular alongside Jamie George and Theo Dan at StoneX Stadium.
His departure comes via mutual consent, and Pifeleti was full of gratitude for the club that shaped his professional career.
"I am truly grateful for Saracens and everything they have done for me. I'll be forever indebted to this amazing club."
Director of Rugby Mark McCall paid tribute to Pifeleti's professionalism and dedication.
"Kapeli is first of all a fantastic person who was well liked by everyone at the club. His commitment to the team, even when not getting as much game time as he wanted, showed his true character.
We wish him well with this exciting new opportunity and will keep a keen eye on his progress in France."
