The new deal will see Joseph remain at the Pro D2 side until June 2026, with a significant salary increase, according to Sud Ouest.

Joseph, 33, began his senior professional career at London Irish, joining the club’s academy before making his debut in 2008. His performances soon made him a regular starter, and he became one of the key figures in the club's backline.

His blistering pace and sharp footwork caught the attention of England selectors, earning him his first international cap during a tour to South Africa in 2012. He started in the final two tests of the series, marking the beginning of a distinguished international career.

Joseph’s time with England saw him earn over 50 caps, including playing in multiple Six Nations Championships and Rugby World Cups. His standout performances included crucial tries in key fixtures, cementing his place as a dynamic and attacking centre. He was also a part of England’s squad during their 2016 Grand Slam-winning campaign in the Six Nations.

In 2020, Joseph made the move to Biarritz, bringing a wealth of experience to the French club. His leadership and skill have made him a central figure in their Pro D2 campaign.

The extension of his contract at Biarritz will allow him to continue playing a key role for the club as they aim for promotion to the Top 14.
