The BBC has unveiled its star-studded presenting team for this year's Six Nations, and there's one notable absence – former England captain Dylan Hartley, who played a prominent role in last year's coverage, is nowhere to be seen.

Gabby Logan leads the charge

Gabby Logan will once again host the BBC's live coverage on BBC One and iPlayer, joined by a stacked line-up of rugby royalty. Expect insights from ex-Wales captain Sam Warburton, Ireland’s Tommy Bowe, and legendary commentator Jonathan Davies.

DON’T MISS

  • England’s presence will be strong with Martin Johnson, Danny Care, and Chris Ashton all confirmed.
  • Italian icon Sergio Parisse joins the team, offering expert insight into Italy's campaign.
  • Scotland's representatives include John Barclay and Chris Paterson, while Nigel Owens will handle those all-important officiating debates.

Rugby Special returns

Fan favourite Six Nations Rugby Special, hosted by Ugo Monye, is back on BBC Two and iPlayer every Sunday during match weeks, breaking down the weekend's action with style.

Expert commentary team locked in

Andrew Cotter remains the BBC's lead commentator, with Sara Orchard, Alastair Eykyn, and Gareth Rhys Owen providing sharp analysis during highlights.

Familiar faces out

There's no room for Hartley or former French hooker Ben Kayser in this year's line-up, as the BBC makes some notable changes to its roster.

Future in doubt?

While the BBC and ITV continue their joint coverage of the tournament – a partnership running since 2016 – questions loom over the Six Nations' long-term availability on free-to-air television. The current broadcast deal is set to expire after this year's championship, raising concerns for fans hoping to keep it accessible.
