Joe Marler is gearing up to be a key presence during the 2025 British & Irish Lions tour — but not on the pitch.

According to RUCK sources, the England prop will join Sky Sports' elite punditry team alongside three-time Lions coach Warren Gatland and World Cup winner Will Greenwood.
When and where can you watch the tour?
Sky Sports has secured exclusive rights to broadcast the entire 2025 British & Irish Lions tour of Australia, showing all three Test matches and six warm-up games live. The action kicks off on June 28, 2025, when the Lions take on Western Force in Perth.
When will the squad be announced?
Mark your calendars! The Lions squad and captain will be revealed live on Sky Sports at a glitzy event in front of 2,000 lucky fans at London's O2 on Thursday, May 8.
Lions fixtures: Where and when?
After their opener against Western Force, the Lions will face a packed schedule across Australia:
- July 2: Queensland Reds, Brisbane
- July 5: Waratahs, Sydney
- July 9: Brumbies, Canberra
- July 12: Australia & New Zealand Invitational XV, Adelaide
- July 22: Melbourne Rebels, Melbourne
When are the Test matches?
The real drama begins with the first Test at Brisbane's Suncorp Stadium on July 19, followed by a blockbuster second Test at the iconic MCG in Melbourne on July 26. The tour culminates with the final Test at Sydney's Accor Stadium on August 2.
