England hopeful Seb Atkinson commits future to Gloucester Rugby

Gloucester Rugby have announced a contract extension for young centre, Seb Atkinson.  Signed during the 2022/23 season after the demise of the former team Worcester Warriors, Seb made an instant impact in Cherry & White, racking up 16 appearances and being named Stowford Press Supporters Young Player of the Season and Kit Tanner Young Player of the Season (voted by coaches).

Two seasons on, Atkinson continues to be a valuable member of the Gloucester Rugby squad, accumulating over a half-century of games in Cherry & White at just 22 years old.  Director of Rugby, George Skivington, said:  

"We're really pleased to secure Seb's future at Kingsholm.  "After two and half seasons and over fifty first-team appearances, it's easy to forget that Seb is still just 22 years of age and has lots of developing still to go. There's no doubt Seb has the potential to push for higher honours.

"It's a trend across all the young guys that have re-signed for next season, and it's why we're so excited about what this group can achieve."  

Atkinson added:  "When I joined the Club in 2022, I instantly felt at home and I felt it was an environment that was going to bring the best out of me.
