England's number 8 Ben Earl is under the microscope again for a contentious incident right before halftime against the Springboks.

His tackling technique has been a hot topic recently, with World Cup winner Will Greenwood publicly criticising him just weeks ago. Yet, as England slumped to their fifth consecutive defeat, improvement was hard to see.

Planet Rugby scribe Jared Wright chimed in on X: "Ben Earl put in another no-arms tackle just before halftime. Has got to watch that becoming a habit, officials will take note."

Fans weren’t any kinder:
