Bath Rugby have secured the future of one of their own, as scrum-half Tom Carr-Smith has put pen to paper on a new contract, keeping him at The Rec until the end of the 2025/26 season.
The 23-year-old, who has been part of the club since the age of 13, has become an integral part of the squad. With 12 appearances across all competitions this season, Carr-Smith has been a key figure in Bath's charge to the Premiership Rugby Cup semi-finals.

A former England U20 international, Carr-Smith played his part in the 2021 U20 Six Nations Grand Slam-winning side, showcasing his talent on the international stage. Now, he's laser-focused on taking his game to the next level with his boyhood club.
"I'm so happy to be continuing my journey with Bath," Carr-Smith said. "I just want to keep improving, work with great people, and see how far this group can go. I'm super excited for what's ahead."
Bath's Head of Rugby, Johann van Graan, was full of praise for the homegrown talent: "Tom has developed really well over the last two-and-a-half seasons into a running nine who plays with speed and control. He's helped shape our culture and brings a real sense of purpose to the team. I'm excited to see what he brings in a Bath jersey moving forward."
With Carr-Smith locked in, Bath fans can look forward to seeing more of their dynamic No.9 in the famous Blue, Black and White as the club continues its upward trajectory.

England last won the Six Nations in 2020, in what was a crowning achievement during the Eddie Jones era. Coming off the back of the 2019 Rugby World Cup Final heartbreak, England bounced back to win their seventh Six Nations title since the competition’s Italian expansion in 2000.
England secured the trophy with a win in Rome, as they handed Italy a one-sided 34-5 bonus point defeat. We are challenging you to remember who started for England that day, as the match was played in front of an empty stadium during the Covid-19 Pandemic.
You have five minutes to provide your answers, good luck!
