According to Actu Rugby, the Italy international lock is poised to join Top 14 side Perpignan as a mid-season medical joker. Lamb’s standout performances in the 2024 Autumn Nations Series, including a man-of-the-match display against Georgia, have made him the prime candidate for the role.
Marvin Orie's misfortune, Lamb's opportunity
The move comes in the wake of a potentially career-ending injury to South African international Marvin Orie, leaving Perpignan scrambling for a replacement. Lamb is now tipped to make the switch, with an announcement expected soon.
A bittersweet return
Lamb recently rejoined Quins after international duty, featuring in the clash against Bristol. However, the potential loss of the Italian lock adds to Harlequins' growing woes following Joe Marler’s surprise retirement just last week.

With key figures like Stephan Lewies already battling injuries, Harlequins could face a tough challenge in maintaining their forward dominance. Could this be the start of a reshuffle in their pack? Only time will tell.
