The 29-year-old hooker, who has racked up 83 appearances for the Chiefs, brings a wealth of experience to Kingsholm. A proven performer on the big stage, Innard was on the scoresheet in Exeter's triumphant 2018 and 2023 Premiership Cup finals.

International pedigree from an early age
Innard's talent was evident from his youth, representing England at U18 and U20 levels. He was a key figure in the 2015 Six Nations-winning U20 squad and featured off the bench in the 2015 World Rugby U20 Championship final, where England fell short against New Zealand.

Sandy Park standout
This season, Innard has made 12 appearances for the Chiefs, including a start in their impressive Premiership victory over Saracens in January. His consistent performances have caught the eye of Gloucester's Director of Rugby, George Skivington.

Skivington excited by Innard's arrival
"We're really pleased to bring Jack up to Kingsholm and add to the strong stock of hookers we already have," Skivington said. "Exeter are known for their powerful forward pack, and Jack will bring that hard-nosed edge to our squad. Our recruitment is nearly complete, and Jack's signing is another key piece of the puzzle."

a bid to strengthen their squad and push for silverware, the Cherry and Whites have bolstered their ranks with a blend of international experience and exciting talent.

Each signing brings a unique skillset that promises to elevate Gloucester's game to new heights. Here’s a breakdown of what each player brings to Kingsholm:

Will Joseph: Future England Star Ready to Shine

Gloucester has snapped up electric young centre Will Joseph from Harlequins, adding serious dynamism to their midfield options. The 22-year-old, younger brother of England legend Jonathan Joseph, has been turning heads in the Premiership with his blistering pace, footwork, and ability to create chances out of nothing.

Joseph is equally comfortable at outside centre or wing, making him a versatile threat in the backline. His ability to beat defenders one-on-one and his natural game sense make him an ideal addition to Gloucester's attacking arsenal. As a player tipped for future England stardom, his arrival signals Gloucester's intent to inject youthful energy and creativity into their lineup next season.

Ross Byrne: Irish Playmaker Brings Control

Gloucester have pulled off a major coup by securing Irish international fly-half Ross Byrne from Leinster. Known for his tactical control and deadly accurate kicking, Byrne is set to bring a steady hand to Gloucester's backline.

At 29, Byrne boasts years of experience at the highest level, including Champions Cup and URC appearances, where he's showcased his ability to manage games and deliver under pressure. His composure in high-stakes matches and his tactical awareness will give Gloucester the edge in tight contests.

"I’m delighted to have signed with Gloucester Rugby for next season. The club’s exciting ambitions made it an opportunity I just couldn’t pass up. The team are producing a really great brand of rugby already, and that’s certainly something that drew me to Kingsholm."

Ben Loader: Pace and Power from the Stormers

Explosive winger Ben Loader returns to England after a spell with the Stormers in South Africa, bringing with him an enhanced skillset and raw speed that's bound to thrill Gloucester fans. Loader, 26, lit up the Premiership with London Irish before his South African adventure, where he fine-tuned his defensive game and added another dimension to his attacking prowess.

Known for his blistering acceleration and clinical finishing, Loader is a try-scoring machine who thrives in space. His ability to exploit defensive gaps and create chances from nowhere will give Gloucester's back three a major boost.

"I’m incredibly excited to join Gloucester Rugby next season. I’ve really enjoyed my stint playing with the Stormers, but the opportunity to return to England with Gloucester was too good to turn down."
