British and Irish Lions head coach Andy Farrell announced his coaching team for this summer's tour of Australia yesterday, but the next burning question is: who will wear the captain's armband down under?

Farrell has hinted that the decision is far from straightforward, with as many as six contenders in the running to lead the squad.
"There are maybe four, five, six on the list," Farrell revealed when discussing his options.
"When you narrow it down, this is the right number to fit the schedule and what you need, and which hybrid players can cover different positions. Then you consider who the leaders are within that, what the dynamics of a leadership group will look like, and who's going to be comfortable being themselves in that environment. It's a process, not something you rush."
Maro Itoje: The Enforcer
The Saracens lock has long been tipped as a future Lions captain. A proven leader, Itoje's influence in the engine room could be key in Australia.
Caelan Doris: The Rising Star
Doris has become a central figure in Ireland's dominance, with his work rate and leadership qualities making him a strong contender for the armband.
Jac Morgan: The Welsh Warrior
Morgan's fearless approach and captaincy experience with Wales make him another viable candidate to take charge of the Lions in hostile territory.
Jamie George: The Experienced Campaigner
The Saracens hooker has been a cornerstone of England's pack for years. His experience, leadership, and composure in high-stakes situations put him firmly in the mix.
Owen Farrell: The Proven Leader
Farrell's leadership credentials are undeniable. The former England captain has been at the helm for some of the biggest moments in recent Lions history and would bring a wealth of experience to the role.
With Farrell set to name his squad and captain at a live ceremony at the O2 Arena on May 8, the race to lead the Lions is heating up.
