Arendse returns for URC final

The Vodacom Bulls have received a significant boost with the return of Kurt-Lee Arendse for the URC final against Glasgow Warriors at a sold-out Loftus Versfeld on Saturday.

Arendse was announced to be starting on the left wing for the Vodacom Bulls after missing the semi-finals due to a fractured facial bone he suffered in the quarter-finals.

The injury required Arendse to go under the knife, but the World Cup-winning outside back has been passed fit to play in the final in Pretoria.

Arendse’s return is one of two changes to the Vodacom Bulls’ starting lineup for the final, as Willie le Roux will miss the game due to HIA protocols, after suffering a concussion in the second half of the semi-final win against Leinster.

Le Roux’s place at fullback is taken by Devon Williams, who shifts to the No 15 jersey after an excellent performance on the wing in the semi-finals.
