Pau is the lovely looking capital of Bearn, located 31 miles from the Spanish border and 50 miles from the Atlantic, Paloise the name given to its people. Bath qualified by dint of having the 5th poorest record in a table of 6 in the Champions Cup, a format that mirrors its footballing equivalent and one that I like, but a few posters have made their opposition clear! Pau won 2 of their 4 games to finish third in their Challenge Cup group.
