Springbok and Stormers star Sacha Feinberg-Mngomezulu picked up another injury during Saturday’s 29-10 win over the Lions in the United Rugby Championship.

The 22-year-old flyhalf sustained an injury after being tackled by Lions prop Asenathi Ntlabakanye in the 27th minute of the game.

Although Sacha Feinberg-Mngomezulu attempted to continue playing, he was eventually substituted as he could not carry on. He limped off the field and needed medical attention.

Feinberg-Mngomezulu’s injury adds to the challenges faced by the Stormers’ Director of Rugby, John Dobson. This comes shortly after the young player had returned to action following a knee injury he sustained against the All Blacks earlier this year, which required surgery.

"He's got a hip pointer, I don't know how serious it is," Dobson said after the game.

"It would've been nice to get him to half-time.

"I don't know [the extent of the injury], it could be two days or a couple of weeks."

Having made his Springbok debut this year, Sacha Feinberg-Mngomezulu has been one of the players to watch. He was nominated for the World Rugby Men's Breakthrough Player of the Year alongside England's Immanuel Feyi-Waboso, Ireland's Jamie Osborne and eventual winner Wallace Sititi from the All Blacks.

Must Sacha be rested until nexy year?
