Miracle Faiilagi became the first Moana Pasifika player to notch a Super Rugby hat-trick in their win over the Hurricanes, while the Fijian Drua claimed a maiden Chiefs scalp.
Moana stunned the Canes with 28 unanswered points in Auckland on Saturday, as Faiʻilagi's three tries and Kyren Taumoefolau's score sealed a 40-31 victory – their first win of 2025.

In Lautoka, Ponepati Loganimasi's brilliance saw the Drua outlast the table-topping Chiefs in a 25-17 triumph. His solo effort and assist for Vuate Karawalevu's try turned the game, with Isaiah Armstrong-Ravula's late penalty confirming a famous win.
