The UCT Ikeys delivered a devastating first-half performance to thrash Wits in Cape Town, while Tuks blunted CUT in Bloemfontein.
UCT 73-17 Wits
Ikey's captain Keagan Blanckenberg dotted down first to put the hosts on the board and they were relentless, capitalising on a yellow card to Tirhani Masondo to run in six first-half tries for 45-0 lead at the break.
Three second-half tries from Wits made the scoreline more favourable, but it wasn’t enough to stop the Ikeys who added four of their own, ending the game with 10 in a mammoth 73-17 victory.
Blackenberg was named the Player that Rocks.
