Uruguay tweak lineup for Italy duel

Coach Esteban Meneses has made two changes to the Uruguay starting XV for their second Pool A match against Italy in Nice on Wednesday.

German Kessler comes in at hooker and Gaston Mieres onto the wing, while there are 13 survivors in the match-day 23 from the last time the two sides played, in 2021.

Italy kicked off their World Cup campaign with a 52-8 victory over Namibia, while the Uruguayans lost 27-12 against France on Thursday.
