Springbok arrives at new team with a warning: 'It's gonna be a movie'

Springbok Jordan Hendrikse has officially joined the Sharks from the Lions and upon his arrival vowed to light up his new home, Kings Park, alongside his brother Jaden.

Hendrikse was recently confirmed to have signed for the Durban-based Sharks after a successful stint at the Lions, which saw him earn Springbok colours.

On Wednesday, he officially landed at the Shark Tank and linked up with his new teammates, including older brother and fellow Springbok Jaden Hendriks.

In a video released earlier to day, the rising Springbok star warned that he has plans to light up Kings Park alongside his sibling.

“I’m very excited about the new season at the Sharks, I look forward to it,” the Springbok said. “I look forward to joining the Sharks family.

“Going back to Durbs, you know, where me and brother’s journey all started. He’s kicked on immediately, mine took a bit time. I’m just blessed, you know, to go back, join him and hopefully play a couple of games with him and just make history.

“We always had this rivalry of playing against each other, now as a family they can support one team instead of two teams. I know our dad’s looking down on us with a smile, being so proud,” the new Springbok man added.

“We just want to put some action on and for people to put their 3D glasses on, you’re gonna see a movie. That is what’s going to happen. It’s going to be an awesome time down in Durban. Sharks family, I hope you guys are ready for this season.”
