Schools wrap: Boishaai, Grey claim bragging rights

Paarl Boys' High claimed a statement win at the North-South Festival in Stellenbosch, while Grey High salvaged pride with a big victory in the Eastern Cape.
Boishaai avenged last year's heavy Wildeklawer loss to Affies with a commanding 25-17 victory on Monday. Paarl Gim added to the Cape schools' dominance, hammering Monument 66-16.
Outeniqua put 50 points past Welkom Gim, while Melkbosstrand edged Mzwandile Mali XV 25-24. HTS Drostdy suffered the south's only loss, going down 43-24 to Menlopark.
SCHOOLS WRAP: Paarl powerhouses lay down a marker
At the Grey High Festival, the hosts overpowered Hilton College 20-7, securing the only local win against KZN opposition.
Meanwhile, Westville beat Dale 28-13, DHS thumped Selborne 35-5, and Kearsney overturned a half-time deficit to defeat Hudson Park 41-31. Queen's also edged Pretoria Boys' 17-14, while St Charles saw off Daniel Pienaar 26-13.
The North-South/Noord-Suid Festival wraps up on Tuesday.
