All Blacks coach Scott Robertson expects France to bring their superstars to New Zealand for a three-Test series in July.

The French Rugby Federation and the country's professional clubs announced in August that no players involved in the Top 14 final on 28 June will be selected for the tour.

With eight rounds of the league stage remaining, defending champions Toulouse are top of the log, with Bordeaux-Begles second and Toulon third. Those three clubs accounted for 21 players in France’s Six Nations-winning squad.

Pre-sale tickets for the New Zealand series went on sale on Wednesday, with the All Blacks social media account urging Kiwis to come watch the “Six Nations champions”, even though the touring team could look quite different to that which celebrated in Paris last Saturday.

NTAMACK: New Zealand tours are unique

Robertson did his best to help sell tickets when appearing on the Rugby Direct podcast.

"People say what sort of team are they going to bring out? A good team,” he said. "We expect them to bring out [Romain] Ntamack, [Damian] Penaud and whoever is in that final. You have to have that mindset.

"We've learnt last year you can never assume anything in test footy.

"You're one card, a couple of penalties away, from being in your corner. Games change really quickly. The quality and depth in the French squad from the [under] 20s who have come through – it's going to be a hell of Test series – the last time we'll get three games in one country.

“We're expecting the best of them.”
