France flyhalf Romain Ntamack is set to make his comeback in the 2025 Six Nations opener against Wales on Friday, but Les Bleus will be without ace finisher Damian Penaud.

Ntamack is back from a long-term knee injury, swopping places on the crock list with Penaud, who is among several other players unavailable for the clash at Stade de France.

Coach Fabien Galthie has made five changes to the team that beat Argentina 37-23 in Paris in November, as he counts the cost of injuries to Gael Fickou, Charles Ollivon and Thibaud Flament

Theo Attissogbe lines up on the right wing in a back three with fullback Thomas Ramos and Louis Bielle-Biarrey. Up front, No 8 Greg Alldritt returns in place of Ollivon and Alexandre Roumat starts in place of Flament.
