Who will be victorious on Saturday, when the Stormers host their fiercest rivals the Bulls at DHL Stadium in Cape Town?

Saturday's match at DHL Stadium will be the ninth clash between the Stormers and Vodacom Bulls in the Vodacom URC, with the home side boasting a dominant 7-1 win/loss record over their rivals.

It will be the first north-south clash between the two teams since last season, which the Bulls thrashed the Stormers 40-22 in Pretoria to end a six-match losing streak against their bitter rivals.

This derby, which was initially scheduled to take place in round 1 of the competition back in September of 2024, had been put back until the new year to avoid a clash with last year’s Currie Cup final.

The Bulls will be looking to reduce the gap between themselves and the two top sides (Leinster and the Glasgow Warriors) on the competition standings, while the hosts, currently 12th on the log, will be desperate to close in on the top eight to improve their playoff chances.

With these sides set to write another chapter in the history of this epic rivalry, relive the inaugural URC final, which was contested between them three years ago.
